Private by design

Your voice never becomes someone else's data.

Speech recognition uses local Core ML models, and formatting uses Apple's on-device model. The IraVoice Mac app runs no account system or product telemetry, and IraVoice servers receive none of your audio, transcripts, selections, vocabulary, or repository context.

  • On-device speech recognition
  • On-device Apple Intelligence formatting
  • License state stored in your Mac Keychain
  • No Mac app telemetry or cloud transcript history

What does leave your Mac

  • Speech models are downloaded once, on first use.
  • When you activate a license, your key is sent to Gumroad to be verified.
  • If you explicitly choose a Codex or Claude Code prompt destination, the finished specification is submitted to that agent in a visible Terminal session. The agent’s account and privacy terms then apply.

Microphone audio is never part of those connections. Focused-app delivery stays local; direct agent handoff sends only the finished specification you explicitly routed.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

What happens after the 3-day trial?

The app stays installed and configurable, but voice actions pause. Buy once, paste the license key from your Gumroad receipt, and continue without a subscription.

Does IraVoice upload my speech or selected text?

Speech recognition and formatting run locally, and IraVoice has no server that receives your speech or selected text. Models download on first use and Gumroad verifies a paid license. If you explicitly select direct Codex or Claude Code delivery, the finished specification is submitted to that agent under its service terms.

Which Macs are supported?

IraVoice 0.7.2 requires an Apple-silicon Mac running macOS 26 or later. Apple Intelligence must be enabled for polished formatting and Voice-to-Spec; basic speech recognition can fall back to an unformatted transcript when the formatter is unavailable.

How do I install it?

Download the notarized DMG, drag IraVoice to Applications, open it, then grant Microphone and Accessibility access when macOS asks. Terminal users can instead run brew install --cask mvplab-ai/tap/iravoice from the official public tap; it installs the same checksum-verified release without a custom installer or post-install script.

Can I use it with Codex or Claude Code?

Yes. Voice-to-Spec turns rough spoken requirements into guarded Markdown. Keep focused-app delivery to review and paste it yourself, or explicitly choose Codex or Claude Code as the prompt destination for a visible, fail-closed direct handoff.

Your voice. Your Mac.
